Because of the cold and the fact that we have one child that takes two naps a day and one that takes one nap a day we mostly stayed home while the kids were off track. I didn't want them playing video games the entire three weeks so here are a few of the other fun things we did while we were home.
We had some detective work going on. Or was it spy's?
I think we did about 50 word searches.
Decorated sugar cookies for Easter.
The finished products.
Built some forts. They had a good time playing in the fort until someone would pull it down and then at least half of them would start crying until they realized that they could just build another one.
We did some bead crafting.
The kids made necklaces, bracelets, headbands and belts. And of course the airplane key chain which was not an easy project. Lucas even made a bracelet.
Played some baseball, soccer, and football.
Decorated cupcakes with Aunt Amy cause she has all the right stuff and knows all the fancy designs. The kids had so much fun doing this.
